What is a bespoke sea kayaking expedition?
When we talk about expeditions, we’re talking about a bespoke guided sea kayak trip where we meet you at a destination elsewhere from our usual locality, the Pembrokeshire Coast. We do offer bespoke guiding right here on the Pembrokeshire Coast, which you can read about here.
But if you’ve got somewhere further afield on your bucket list you’d like to explore and you’re not confident to head out under your own steam, we’ll help do the research, put together an itinerary and take the lead out at sea.
We’ve guided expeditions all over the world. Closer to home, we’ve led tours of the Scilly Isles, the South coast of Ireland and the West coast and far North of Scotland. We’ve also taken countless trips to stunning locations across the globe such as Greenland, Alaska, New Zealand, the Maldives and Arctic Norway. If you can dream it, we’ll make it happen.
We also collaborate with Mest Ute link to who offer regular summer tours of the Swedish archipelago.

WHAT TO EXPECT +
No matter where we are in the world, we’ll always start the day with some in-depth planning, taking into account the tides, weather, swell and conservation impacts. We’ll explore the group’s aspirations and select a suitable route.
Our bespoke Expeditions can mean something different to every paddler, you may want to spend relaxed time exploring and taking in the scenery, learning about the local history, culture, flora and fauna. Or you may be focused on developing a particular skill set. We take a personalised approach and endeavour to make every expedition special and unique to the paddlers’ individual aims.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL +
Bespoke expeditions can be enjoyed by people of all abilities from beginner to advanced. The itinerary can be adapted to suit different levels of fitness and experience.
You will need to be:
- Comfortable in and on the water
- Able to swim or happy to float
WHO ARE THESE TRIPS FOR? +
You may be part of an organised sea kayak club, a group of friends, an adventurous family or you may be a solo paddler.

KIT PROVIDED +
Depending on the location, we use our own kit or we may organise kit rental at the destination.
