What to expect on a Sea Kayaking Discovery Day
Uncover the magic of the Pembrokeshire Coast from an entirely unique perspective on a Sea Kayaking Discovery Day. Explore beneath spectacular sea cliffs swathed in coastal flowers and punctuated by cascading waterfalls. Paddle under towering natural arches and sea stacks, through glittering sea caves and enchanting rock gardens. Take in the astounding variety of birdlife including gannets, cormorants, peregrines, choughs, fulmers, guillemots, razorbills and puffins. You may be visited by playfully inquisitive grey seals or spot pods of porpoise. Paddle through history from smugglers to invaders, pirates to pilgrims and see how the geology tells its own fascinating story too.
This trip is perfect for beginners with little-to-no kayaking experience who want to learn some basic paddle strokes and easy techniques to manoeuvre your boat whilst enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Individuals, couples, families and small groups are all welcome.
